These photos were taken by local Manteo artist and friend, George Cheeseman. I think they were taken early last week (Nov. 8, 2009).
This first photo shows a popular spot along the Marshes Light boardwalk, it needs a better name; I call it the “Corner.” It’s a great spot to sit and enjoy the view and there are stairs nearby to get down to the water’s edge, suitable to launch a kayak or canoe or throwing a stick for your dog.
