We are making things ready at Marshes Light for another wonderful season. Boaters are checking the batteries and fuel lines on their vessels when they are not out fishing for ocean rock (better than lobster, yum). The crack of the bat heralds little league in practice, daffodils are blooming, buds are forming on trees, and the sounds of birds chirping in the early morning brings a smile to our faces. Spring is my favorite time of year!
Next weekend March 5-8 hosts the Taste of the Beach Event. This Event showcases the best in food, wine, restaurants and music along the Outer Banks. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit http://www.obxtasteofthebeach.com/home.htm.
