It was an unusual day along the Outer Banks today with 3 inches of snowfall that actually STUCK to the ground! I enjoyed watching history in the making with the Inauguration proceedings in Washington, DC, (on the big screen) and watching the snow falling outside. Snow is welcome on the Outer Banks as it is RARE, BEAUTIFUL, and usually is GONE within 8 hours!
